It’s good to be home…
I got home and saw Mommy sleeping on Kath’s (my sister’s) bed… Daddy on my bed… Kath on kuya’s bed… so that leaves me to sleep on my cousin Lei’s bed.. Luckily she’s not here tonight. :D They’re too tired of Christmas shopping so choosing where to sleep became their last option.
Anyway, I had a wonderful sweets day today. My officemates are just so sweet! I got three sweets today — Candy cane, Santa-shaped chocolate and a Krispy Kreme donut. Wonderful! Perfect when I need sugar rush during work. And of course, because it’s Christmas, I brought something for them too… and guess what. SWEETS! Sweets are sweeter on Christmas, don’t you think?
It’s two more nights before Christmas.. so let’s make it fast.. SLEEP.

I was the little kid who wished for super powers. I prayed to God to give me powers when I was a little girl and promised I won’t use it for the bad. It was funny, I guess He laughed saying “kids..” I had little toy dinosaurs that grows when placed in water, thinking each of it was alive. When I see satellites, I used to shout “parabolic kings!!” I used to brush my doll’s teeth… and yes, with toothpaste. My parents used to watch their little girl sleeping like a roasted chicken curled under the covers and wakes up at the bottom of their feet the next morning. I’m the girl whose hair wasn’t touched by anyone until I was 16 because my parents do the cutting. I have this long silky hair that I managed to maintain up to now. I had a happy childhood and I’m trying to make my life as happy as that little Prinsesa Elena simply by appreciating life and asking God to give me super powers (kiddin’). I’m now working as a Writer-Editor and trying to be the writer of my own story for the rest of my life. I’m enjoying my stay in this world and I’m trying to enjoy it more by exploring what I still haven’t witnessed -- setting my foot to lands it hasn’t touched yet, tasting different foods even those weird picks, making friends, staying informed about the world and my country, keeping learning as the biggest part of my life.
